The last version of Internet Explorer, version 11, was released on October 17, 2013. This is a very long time ago when taking into account the rapid development of web technologies. These days it is often difficult and time consuming to get modern technologies to work well in this old browser. More and more frameworks are dropping support, and even Microsoft themselves has announced that they will fully drop support for IE in their own services in 2021.
Consequently, we have decided to not include support for IE in the Design Library website.
Luckily, there are modern options in active development. Please use Firefox, Edge or Chrome instead.
This table shows an overview of which components are available in which frameworks in Green. The list includes all components that are described in Design Library.
Sometimes there's not a 1-to-1 mapping between Design Library and Green. For example, in some cases, multiple similar components in Design Library will in practice share most of the code and will therefore only be implemented as one component in Green.
Modals, for example, is implemented as a single component with some modifier classes in Green, but described in 4 separate components in Design Library (Dialogue, Fold-out, Slide-out and Takeover)
Also note that some of the components that seem to be missing from Angular are passive components that can easiliy be used as regular HTML in an Angular template. A missing X in this table ususally only means that there is no specific Angular (or React) implemenation availbe, but you can still use the markup and Chlorophyll classes.
Component | Chlorophyll (CSS) | Angular | React |
